Data Protection
Dans le cadre de ses activités et pour assurer son bon fonctionnement, l’IRIMAS est amené à recueillir et à traiter des données à caractère personnel relatives aux étudiants, aux personnels et à toute personne avec laquelle il est en relation (partenaires, prestataires, lecteurs des bibliothèques…).
Ainsi, l’Institut de Recherche en Informatique, Mathématiques, Automatique et Signal est susceptible de recueillir vos données personnelles notamment lorsque :

Ces données sont utilisées pour répondre à vos demandes, vous informer des actualités de l’IRIMAS ou traiter les formulaires que vous avez remplis.
The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), adopted in 2016 and in effect since May 25, 2018 in every member country of the European Union, reinforces theFrench Data Protection Act of January 6, 1978, as amended.
L’IRIMAS fait partie de l’Université de Haute-Alsace qui a désigné un délégué à la protection des données (DPD ou DPO). Il est chargé d’accompagner les personnels et les étudiants de l’UHA dans le cadre de la mise en conformité à la réglementation en matière de protection des données à caractère personnel : traitement et libre circulation de ces données.
Data collection
Staff and students at the University of Haute-Alsace who are required to collect personal data are responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable regulations from the very outset of any personal data processing project. To this end, they must demonstrate that such processing complies with French law and European regulations.
The Data Protection Officer is contacted by all these individuals, and together they complete a declaration form to initiate the compliance process. These processing activities are recorded in the University’s processing register, for which the President is responsible. The purpose of this register is to document all processing activities carried out in the context of administrative management, research, and education.
The data collected is limited to what is strictly necessary and is processed exclusively for the purposes specified at the time of collection (in forms, online services, etc.). The UHA guarantees the security, integrity, and confidentiality of the data collected. It is retained only for the time necessary for its processing and is neither sold, transferred to third parties, nor used for unintended purposes. The University of Haute-Alsace does not sell any contact lists.
The information collected (contact details, email address) through forms and mailing lists (including contact forms) on this site is used solely to send you specific information that you have voluntarily subscribed to. You may exercise your rights at any time.
Exercising one's rights
You have the right to be informed about, access, modify, correct, and delete your personal data, as well as the right to restrict processing, the right to data portability, the right to object, and the right to withdraw your consent for future processing.
Individuals whose data is processed by the University—including students, staff (BIATSS and faculty members), and temporary employees—may exercise their rights by contacting the individuals listed in the privacy notice provided at the time their data was collected, or by contacting the Data Protection Officer. The request to exercise these rights must specify the reason for the request and the requester’s contact information.
